PLEASE NOTE: All online bookings made through are subject to their terms and conditions.

Booking terms & conditions

Payments via internet banking at the time of booking. Booking is not secured until payment is confirmed. Cancellations made 48 hours or more prior to your scheduled arrival will incur no charges.

Check-in is between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM on the day of arrival. Check-out time is by 10:00 AM on the day of departure. Early check-in and/or late check-out is by arrangement only.

Payment for all charges must be made in full on arrival or prior. The Galleria reserves the right to charge the guest further charges as per these terms and conditions.

Cancellation Policy

Any payments made are not refundable if notification of a cancellation is not received two days prior to the day of the booking. Should we manage to fill the units cancelled then the payment will be refunded in full.


We service our rooms everyday except on Christmas Day. This is carried out between 10 AM and 2 pm only.


All prices quoted are GST inclusive.

Final Payment

Final payment is required upon departure unless prior arrangements have been made with management. The Galleria reserves the right to charge the guest further charges as per these terms and conditions. Unpaid accounts will be liable for any collection costs incurred by The Galleria. The Galleria accepts the following forms of payment: Bank Transfer and Cash (most foreign currencies accepted, please check).

Cheque payments

The Galleria does not accept payment of account by cheque unless prior arrangement is approved by management.


Pre-bookings are accepted for any date up to 12 months in advance, or further in advance at the discretion of The Galleria Manager. Pre-booking is recommended during peak periods.

No shows

Not turning up for a pre-booked and confirmed paid reservation will result in no refund.

Checking out

The Galleria requests that all guests are checked out by 10:00 AM on the day of departure unless prior arrangements have been made with management. Late departures must not exceed 11:00 AM on the day of departure. If a later departure time is required there maybe an additional charge of one (1) nights accommodation.

Additional Services

The Galleria provides additional services to all guests. These are charged for and include telephone access, Internet access, Photocopying, fax service.

Local Telephone Calls: Free

National Telephone Calls: $0.50 cents per minute. Mobile (NZ only) $1.00 per minute. International $2.00 per minute.

Internet Access (WiFi) is free.

Smoking, residual cooking smells and damage to the The Galleria.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in The Galleria. Management requests that guests respect and adhere to this policy at all times. 

We acknowledge that guests book to stay at the The Galleria on the understanding that the rooms will be clean and tidy, and without residual smoking smells. We endeavor to achieve this for you and those who come in after you. Failure to comply with this policy may result in you being levied any additional charges incurred while bringing the room back to the original standard.

Additional Charges

The following costs may be charged at the manager’s discretion:

  • Dry Cleaning of duvets or bedspreads: $40 per item
  • Additional room cleaning,soiling surcharge: $100 per room
  • Carpet Cleaning: $75 per room
  • Damage to Rooms: cost of total repair plus GST
  • Breakages: cost of replacement
  • Missing Chattels: cost of replacement

Return of Lost Property

The Galleria will try to contact guests if something is left behind. Please forward a self addressed pre-paid bag and management will send on as specified.
